Application Fee 

  • General / OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PH / Female: No application fee (₹0).
    Yes, the form is completely free for all categories.

Eligibility Criteria (Who Can Apply?)

  • Must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Must be enrolled in a recognized school/college/university in UP.
  • Pre-Matric (Class 9–10): Student should be studying in these classes.
  • Post-Matric (Class 11–12): Student should be studying in intermediate level.
  • Dashmottar: Students pursuing UG, PG, diploma, or professional courses (like B.Tech, MBA, LLB, B.Ed, Ph.D. etc.) are eligible.
  • Income Limit:
    • For OBC/Minority/General/EWS: Annual family income should not exceed ₹2 lakh (Pre-Matric) and ₹2.5 lakh (Post-Matric/Dashmottar).
    • For SC/ST: Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.

Types of UP Scholarship 2025

The scheme covers students at different stages of education:

  • Pre-Matric Scholarship (Class 9 & 10) – For school students.
  • Post-Matric Scholarship (Class 11 & 12) – For intermediate students.
  • Dashmottar Scholarship – For UG, PG, Diploma, Professional, Technical, and Ph.D. courses.

This makes the scheme inclusive for nearly all educational levels.

Required Documents

Keep these documents ready before filling the form:

  • Aadhaar Card of student
  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Last year’s mark sheet/certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

  • Bank account details (Passbook – Account No. & IFSC)
  • Enrollment number / admission slip
  • Fee receipt issued by the institution

Note: Documents must be uploaded in the correct size and format (JPEG/PDF).

Step-by-Step Process: How to Apply for UP Scholarship 2025

  1. Visit Official Website: Go to scholarship.up.gov.in.
  2. New Registration: Select your category (Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, Dashmottar) and register.
  3. Login: Use the registration number and password received on your mobile/email.
  4. Fill the Form: Enter personal, academic, and bank details carefully.
  5. Upload Documents: Attach photo, income certificate, caste certificate, mark sheet, etc.
  6. Submit Online: Re-check all details before final submission.
  7. Print & Submit: Take a printout of the form and submit it with documents to your school/college.

If the form is not submitted at your institute, it will be rejected even after online submission.
