Important Dates – SSC CGL 2025

• Application Start Date: 09 June 2025
• Last Date to Apply: 04 July 2025
• Online Correction: 09 to 11 July 2025

Application Fees – SSC CGL 2025

• General/ OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
• SC / ST / PH / All Female: ₹0/- (No Fee)

Fee payment can be done through Net Banking, UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card

Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)

Age limits vary by post, and relaxation applies as per rules:

• 18 to 27 years
• 20 to 30 years
• 18 to 30 years
• 18 to 32 years

Example: For posts with age limit of 18–27 years, candidates must be born between 02-08-1998 and 01-08-2007

Age relaxation applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

• Basic Qualification for Most Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
• Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):
  • Graduation with 60% marks in Math in 12th OR
  • Graduation with Statistics as a subject
• Statistical Investigator Grade-II:
  • Graduate degree with Statistics as a subject
• Final Year Students: Eligible, but must meet qualification by 01 August 2025

 Level-7 Pay (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)

• Assistant Section Officer (various ministries)
• Inspector (Income Tax, Central Excise, Examiner, Preventive Officer)
• Sub-Inspector (CBI)
• Assistant Enforcement Officer
• Inspector (Posts/Narcotics)

Level-6 Pay (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)

• Assistant / ASO (Other Ministries)
• Research Assistant (NHRC)
• Junior Statistical Officer
• Divisional Accountant (C&AG)
• Sub-Inspector (NIA/Narcotics)
• Statistical Investigator Grade-II

 Level-5 Pay (₹29,200 – ₹92,300)

• Auditor (C&AG, CGDA, others)
• Accountant/Junior Accountant (various ministries)

Level-4 Pay (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)

• Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant
• Tax Assistant (CBDT & CBIC)
• Senior Secretariat Assistant
• Sub-Inspector (Narcotics Bureau)

SSC CGL 2025 Selection Process

The SSC CGL Exam 2025 will be conducted in the following stages:

 Tier-I (CBT) – Preliminary Exam

• 100 Questions | 200 Marks | 60 Minutes
• General Intelligence & Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension

Tier-II (CBT) – Main Exam

• Detailed syllabus will be provided in official notification.
• Includes Paper-I, II & III based on posts.

 Document Verification (DV)

• Final stage after clearing Tier-II.

Final merit list will be prepared based on Tier-II performance and DV.

Documents Required for SSC CGL 2025 Online Form

10th Class Certificate (Board Name, Roll No., Year of Passing)

How to Apply Online for SSC CGL 2025?

Follow these simple steps to fill the SSC CGL 2025 Online Form:

• Visit SSC’s official website: https://ssc.gov.in
• On the homepage, click on “Apply” → “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025”.
•  Login at https://ssc.gov.in/login using Registration ID & Password.
•  If new user, click on “Register Now” and complete One-Time Registration.
•  Fill in basic details and submit — You will get Registration ID.
•  Upload Recent Photo (100×120 px, 4-12 kb) and Signature (40×60 px, 1-12 kb).
•  Login again and complete Part-II of the Application Form.
• Preview the form carefully and Final Submit.
•  Pay the required Application Fee online.
•  Save & print the final submitted application for future reference.
