Information: The notification for the Technical Graduate Course (TGC) 142 Batch, which will start in January 2026, has been formally announced by the Indian Army. Unmarried male engineering graduates who aspire to serve their country in the technical areas of the Indian Army are eligible for this fantastic chance.

  • Passed OR be in the final year of their Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in relevant branches.

Selection Process 

  • Shortlisting of candidates based on Engineering marks. 
  • SSB Interview: 
  • Two-stage selection process at SSB centres (e.g., Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Kapurthala). 
  • Only those who clear Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2. 
  • Medical Examination 
  • Final Merit List based on SSB + medical clearance 

Training & Stipend 

  • Training Venue: Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun 
  • Training Duration: 49 weeks 
  • Stipend during training: ₹56,100/month 
  • On successful completion, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant in the Indian Army.
