Eligibility Criteria

 Common Requirement (All Posts):
  • Physics and Mathematics must have been studied at 10+2 level or equivalent.
 General Duty (GD):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
 Technical Branch:
  • B.E. / B.Tech degree in relevant Engineering stream (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics).

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 25 years
  • (Relaxation as per govt. norms where applicable)

Selection Process – 5-Stage Procedure

  1. Stage I – CGCAT (Computer Based Screening Test)
  2. Stage II – PSB (Cognitive Battery Test + PP&DT)
  3. Stage III – FSB (Psychological Test + Personal Interview)
  4. Stage IV – Medical Test (As per Indian Coast Guard standards)
  5. Stage V – Induction & Training at the Indian Coast Guard Academy
