IB JIO Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IB Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the following educational qualifications:

Educational Qualification (Any one of the following)

1. Diploma in Engineering in any of these disciplines:
   • Electronics
   • Electronics & Telecommunication
   • Electronics & Communication
   • Electrical & Electronics
   • Information Technology
   • Computer Science
   • Computer Engineering
   • Computer Applications

OR

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Science with any one of these subjects:
   • Electronics
   • Computer Science
   • Physics
   • Mathematics

OR

3. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications (BCA).

IB JIO Salary & Pay Scale 2025

The Intelligence Bureau offers an attractive salary for Junior Intelligence Officer Grade-II:

• Pay Level: Level-4
• Basic Pay: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month
• Additional Benefits:
  • Special Security Allowance: 20% of basic pay
  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Transport Allowance (TA)
  • Cash compensation for duty on holidays (up to 30 days)

Total In-hand Salary: Approx. ₹38,000 – ₹42,000 per month
