Eligibility Criteria
HP TET has different eligibility requirements based on subjects. Here’s a summary:
- TGT (Arts): Graduation/ PG in Arts/Commerce with 50% + B.Ed/ B.El.Ed/ Integrated courses.
- TGT (Non-Medical): B.Sc. (Non-Medical)/ PG with 50% + B.Ed or equivalent.
- TGT (Medical): B.Sc. (Medical)/ PG with 50% + B.Ed or equivalent.
- Sanskrit Teacher: Graduation/ Shastri/ PG in Sanskrit with 50% + B.Ed or B.El.Ed.
- JBT (Junior Basic Training): 10+2 with 50% + 2-year JBT/ D.El.Ed or equivalent.
- Language Teachers (Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu): Graduation with respective subject + B.Ed/ D.El.Ed.
- Special Educator: Relevant qualification in Education/ Special Education as per NCTE norms.
(Note: Minimum 45% accepted in some cases as per NCTE guidelines.) |
