Candidates must meet the required educational qualification to apply for this recruitment:

• A Postgraduate Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution in any of the following disciplines:

  • Regional Planning
  • Urban Planning

  • Country Planning
  • Transport Planning

  • Environmental Planning

BPSC Assistant Town Planner 2025 – Salary & Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a handsome salary package as per the Bihar Government’s 7th Pay Commission rules.

• Pay Level: Level-9 (expected)
• Starting Salary: Approx. ₹53,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (including allowances)
• Additional benefits like DA, HRA, medical facilities, and other government perks will also be provided.
