Age Limit (as of 01 August 2025)

• Minimum Age: 27 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years

Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the BPSC Assistant Professor posts in Ayurvedic colleges, candidates must meet the following conditions:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.):
   • Must be obtained from a recognized institution listed by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) or National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
2. Postgraduate Degree in Relevant Subject (M.D./M.S. Ayurveda):
   • The PG degree must also be listed under CCIM/NCISM-approved programs.
3. Compulsory Internship:
   • Completion of mandatory internship training is required.
4. Valid Registration:
   • Must be registered with Bihar State Ayurvedic and Unani Medical Council, Patna.
   • Postgraduate qualification must also be registered before joining.
5. Teacher Code:
   • It is mandatory to possess a Teacher Code as per AYUSH Ministry guidelines.

Important Note: Degrees obtained from foreign universities will not be considered valid for this recruitment.
