Selection Process

The selection for BPSC ASO 2025 will be conducted in two major phases:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
2. Main Examination (Descriptive Type)

Final selection will be based on the merit list prepared from the marks obtained in the Mains Exam.

Pay Scale & Perks

The Assistant Section Officer (ASO) post falls under Level-7 Pay Matrix with a handsome salary range:

• Starting Salary: ₹44,900/-
• Maximum Pay: ₹1,42,400/-

In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive all government allowances including HRA, DA, TA, and other benefits as per rules.
