Information: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially released the notification for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025. The exam is being conducted to recruit eligible teachers for secondary (classes 9th & 10th) and senior secondary (classes 11th & 12th) schools across Bihar.
बिहार विद्यालय परीक्षा समिति (बीएसईबी) ने आधिकारिक तौर पर बिहार राज्य शिक्षक पात्रता परीक्षा (एसटीईटी) 2025 के लिए अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। यह परीक्षा बिहार भर के माध्यमिक (कक्षा 9वीं और 10वीं) और उच्च माध्यमिक (कक्षा 11वीं और 12वीं) स्कूलों के लिए योग्य शिक्षकों की भर्ती के लिए आयोजित की जा रही है।
The online application process will start on 11th September 2025, and the last date to register is 19th September 2025. Interested candidates must check the eligibility criteria, exam pattern, required documents, and important dates before applying.

Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility varies based on the paper applied for:
1. Paper I (Secondary Teacher – Classes 9 & 10)
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks
- Must have passed B.Ed
2. Paper II (Senior Secondary Teacher – Classes 11 & 12)
- Postgraduate Degree (PG) in the relevant subject with minimum second division
- Must have passed B.Ed
- For Computer Science teachers, B.Ed is not mandatory
Note: SC / ST / EBC / BC / Divyang candidates get a 5% relaxation in marks.
Paper I (Secondary Level)
- किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से संबंधित विषय में स्नातक/स्नातकोत्तर में कम से कम 50% अंक
- साथ में B.Ed डिग्री होनी चाहिए।
- रिजर्व कैटेगरी के लिए न्यूनतम अंक में छूट।
- 4 वर्षीय B.A. B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed डिग्री धारक भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
Paper II (Higher Secondary Level)
- संबंधित विषय में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री में न्यूनतम 50% अंक
- साथ में B.Ed अनिवार्य
- 3 वर्षीय Integrated B.Ed + M.Ed कोर्स करने वाले भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
- कंप्यूटर साइंस, संगीत, ललित कला, शारीरिक शिक्षा आदि के लिए विशेष नियम लागू हैं।
