Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university/institution:

• M.Sc. (Second Class) in Geology or Applied Geology
• M.Tech. in Geology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering

Age Limit (As on 01 August 2025):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age:
  • UR (Male): 37 years
  • UR/BC/EBC (Female): 40 years
  • SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years

Selection Process

The selection procedure for the Mineral Development Officer post will include the following stages:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Written Examination
3. Personal Interview

Candidates must qualify in each stage to progress to the next. Final selection will be based on merit performance across all stages.
