DDA Recruitment 2025 – Eligibility Criteria
Below are the post-wise educational qualifications and age limits required for each position:
Group A Posts
- Dy. Director (Architect) – Master’s in Architecture (Urban Design / Conservation / Landscape / Building Engineering) + 5 years’ experience + Council of Architecture membership.
- Dy. Director (Public Relation) – PG Diploma/Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication + 6 years’ journalism/publicity experience.
- Dy. Director (Planning) – Bachelor’s in Planning/Architecture/Civil Engg. or Master’s in Geography/Sociology/Economics + 5 years’ planning experience.
- Assistant Director (Planning) – Bachelor’s in Planning/Architecture/Civil Engg. or Master’s in Geography/Sociology/Economics with specialization in Urban Planning.
- Assistant Director (Architect) – Post-Graduation in Architecture/Urban Design/Landscape + Council of Architecture membership.
- Assistant Director (Landscape) – PG Diploma in Landscape Architecture OR Bachelor’s in Botany/Agriculture/Horticulture + 1-year experience.
- Assistant Director (System) – M.Tech/M.E (CS/IT) or B.Tech/MCA with 60% marks + 1-year experience.
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil/Electrical) – Degree in relevant Engineering branch or equivalent.
Group B Posts
- Assistant Director (Ministerial) – MBA/Equivalent Master’s with specialization in HR, Finance, Industrial Relations, or Real Estate.
- Legal Assistant – Degree in Law + 3 years’ experience at Bar.
- Planning Assistant – Bachelor’s in Planning or Architecture.
- Architectural Assistant – Degree in Architecture.
- Programmer – B.Tech/M.Sc (CS/IT) or DOEACC ‘B’ Level + 1-year software experience.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical) – Diploma or B.Tech in respective discipline.
- Sectional Officer (Horticulture) – Bachelor’s in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry.
- Naib Tehsildar – Graduate with 50% marks or above.
- Junior Translator (Official Language) – Master’s in Hindi/English with Diploma in Translation or 2 years’ translation experience.

- Assistant Security Officer – Bachelor’s degree with required physical qualifications.
- Surveyor – Diploma/NTC in Surveying + 2 years’ experience.
- Stenographer Grade-D – 12th pass + typing speed 40 wpm (English) or 35 wpm (Hindi).
- Patwari – Graduate degree.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) – 12th pass + typing speed 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
- Mali / MTS (Non-Ministerial) – 10th pass or ITI qualification.
