Information: The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially announced the recruitment for Head Constable (Radio Operator) [HC-RO] and Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) [HC-RM] under the Communication Wing. A total of 1121 vacancies have been released for these Group “C” posts, which are temporary but likely to be made permanent.The online application process will begin on 24th August 2025 and will continue until 23rd September 2025. All interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official BSF recruitment portal – rectt.bsf.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria for BSF HC RO & RM 2025
Educational Qualification
For Head Constable (Radio Operator) – HC RO
- Option 1: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) having at least 60% aggregate marks in these subjects.
OR
- Option 2: Matriculation (10th) + 2 years ITI certificate in any of the following trades:
- Radio & Television
- Electronics Engineering
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
- Data Preparation & Computer Software
- General Electronics Engineering
- Data Entry Operator
For Head Constable (Radio Mechanic) – HC RM
- Option 1: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
OR
- Option 2: Matriculation (10th) + 2 years ITI certificate in one of the following trades:
- Radio & Television
- General Electronics
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
- Data Preparation & Computer Software
- Electrician / Fitter
- IT & Electronics System Maintenance
- Communication Equipment Maintenance
- Computer Hardware / Network Technician
- Mechatronics / Data Entry Operator
