Important Dates

• Application Start Date: 22 July 2025

Application Fee 

General / OBC: ₹3000/-

SC / ST / EWS: ₹2400/-

PwBD: ₹0/- (Exempted)

Note: All fees are to be paid online via credit/debit card or net banking.

Eligibility Criteria for NORCET 9 (AIIMS Nursing Officer)

Candidates must fulfill one of the following educational paths:

Option A (B.Sc. Nursing Route):

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) from a recognized institute.
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council.

Option B (Diploma Route):

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized board/institution.
• Registered with State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Must have at least 2 years’ work experience in a hospital with 50 or more beds after qualifying.

Age Limit (as on 11 August 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.

Total Vacancies: 3500 Nursing Officer Posts

Vacancies are distributed across various AIIMS institutions and a few affiliated institutes like JIPMER, ESIC, RIMS, etc.

Salary & Pay Scale

Selected Nursing Officers will be appointed under Level-7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, which includes:

• Basic Pay: ₹44,900 per month
• Plus: DA, HRA, TA & other admissible allowances
• Pre-revised Scale: ₹9300 – ₹34,800 with Grade Pay ₹4600
• Group: ‘B’ Non-Gazetted

1. Visit the AIIMS exam portal: https://aiimsexams.ac.in
2. Click on “NORCET 9 Registration” and create a new profile.
3. Fill in personal, academic, and experience details.
4. Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, certificates).
5. Pay the application fee.
6. Download and print your application for future reference.

• Ensure all information is filled correctly; incomplete forms may be rejected.
• Keep your scanned documents ready: photo, signature, degree certificates, etc.
