Total Vacancies: 3,588 Posts

Educational Qualifications by Trade:

1. Skilled Trades (e.g., Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician, etc.):

• 10th pass (Matriculation)
• Plus:
  • 2-year ITI Certificate in the relevant trade OR
  • 1-year ITI/Vocational training with at least 1 year of work experience.

2. Support Trades (e.g., Cobbler, Tailor, Sweeper, Washerman, etc.):

• 10th pass
• Must be proficient in the trade.
• Must pass a Trade Test conducted by BSF.

3. Kitchen/Serving Trades (e.g., Cook, Waiter, Water Carrier):

• 10th pass
• Must hold a certificate in Food Production or Kitchen Operations from NSDC or a recognized institute.

 Age Limit (as on 23 August 2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 25 years
  Age relaxation applicable as per government norms (see official notification).

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Level-3 of 7th CPC, i.e. ₹21,700 – ₹69,100/- per month, along with other benefits like:

• Ration allowance

• Travel concessions
• Pension and other perks as per central government service rules.
