Information The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Haryana. This recruitment drive aims to fill 785 vacancies for ADO posts across various categories.

The online application process will begin on 05 August 2025 and will remain open until 25 August 2025. Eligible male and female candidates who meet the educational and age criteria are encouraged to apply through the official HPSC website — hpsc.gov.in.

Application Fee 

The application fee is to be paid online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

  • General / EWS Candidates: ₹1000/-
  • SC / BC-A / BC-B / Ex-Servicemen / Female Candidates: ₹250/-
  • PwBD Candidates: No Fee

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 42 Years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the HPSC ADO post, candidates must fulfill the following:

  1. Educational Degree:
    • B.Sc (Hons.) in Agriculture from a recognized university.
  2. Language Requirement:
    • Candidates must have studied Sanskrit or Hindi up to Matric (10th class) level OR in 10+2 / B.A. / M.A. as per Haryana Government’s instructions.
