Information: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has officially invited applications for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2025. This exam is a crucial gateway for candidates aspiring to become teachers in government schools of Uttarakhand for both Primary Classes (1 to 5) and Upper Primary Classes (6 to 8).
Interested candidates can apply online from 10th July 2025 to 5th August 2025 on the official website ukutet.com. The exam will be conducted on 27th September 2025.

UTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For UTET-I (Classes 1 to 5) – Primary Teacher
- Senior Secondary (10+2) with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year D.El.Ed. (BTC)
- OR 10+2 with 45% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year D.El.Ed. (BTC) as per NCTE norms
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 4-year B.El.Ed.
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Special Education
- OR Graduation and passed/appearing in 2-year D.El.Ed. (BTC)
- OR Shiksha Mitra with D.El.Ed. from IGNOU
For UTET-II (Classes 6 to 8) – Upper Primary Teacher
- Graduation and passed/appearing in 2-year D.El.Ed. (BTC)
- OR Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed./ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri
- OR Graduation with 45% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed./ L.T./ Shiksha Shastri as per NCTE norms
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 4-year B.El.Ed.
- OR 10+2 with 50% marks and passed/appearing in 4-year B.A. Ed./ B.Sc. Ed.
- OR Graduation with 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education)
- OR 50% marks in Graduation/Post-Graduation and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (Relaxation applies for admissions before 29 July 2011)
