Eligibility Criteria

 Nationality:

• Must be a citizen of India.

Essential Qualifications:

For Class 1 to 5 (Primary Level):

1. Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks
2. Diploma in Special Education (D.El.Ed) from RCI recognized institute
3. Must hold a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
4. 6-month teaching training in cross-disability/inclusive education

For Class 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Level):

1. Graduation with at least 50% marks
2. B.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent Diploma/Certificate recognized by RCI
3. Must hold a valid CRR number
4. 6-month inclusive education training

Additional Requirement:

• Must have qualified Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET) 2023
  • Paper I: For Class 1 to 5
  • Paper II: For Class 6 to 8

Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 37 Years

Age relaxation applicable as per Bihar Government norms.

• Valid CRR Number Proof from RCI
• BSSTET 2023 Qualified Certificate (Paper I/Paper II)
