Before applying, ensure you have these documents ready:
- Aadhaar Card (linked and seeded with bank account)
- Active Bank Account (student’s name only – joint accounts not allowed)
- Active Mobile Number
- Valid Email ID
- Matric (10th) Marksheet & Roll Number
- Caste Certificate (if applicable for SC/ST)
- Date of Birth (as per 10th certificate)

Eligibility Criteria
- The student must have passed Class 10 from BSEB (Bihar Board) in 2025.
- 1st Division passed students of all categories are eligible for ₹10,000.
- 2nd Division passed students from SC/ST category are eligible for ₹8,000.
- Applicant must be a resident of Bihar.
- The bank account must be in the student’s name, active and Aadhaar seeded for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

Important Instructions
- Aadhaar seeding is mandatory. Aadhaar linkage and seeding are not the same.
- After receiving the User ID & Password, submit the form within 7 days.
- Use only your own or family’s mobile number and email ID – each must be unique and active.
- Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
- Students must ensure that details entered match the 10th mark sheet and Aadhaar exactly.
- No changes will be allowed after final submission, so review carefully.
- The scholarship is awarded only once to each eligible student.

Follow these steps for successful application:
- Visit the official website: medhasoft.bih.nic.in
- Click on Registration / Login once the link is active.
- Fill in your details – Registration Number, Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Roll Number, Aadhaar Details, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.
- After registration, you will receive a User ID and Password on your registered mobile.
- Log in and fill the scholarship application form accurately.
- Review all information and click on Final Submit.
- Take a printout of your application for future reference.
- After submission, verify your bank payment status by logging in.
- Keep checking the status regularly through the portal.
