Eligibility Criteria (As on 01 July 2026)

Flying Branch (Age: 20 to 24 Years)

Born between 02 July 2002 to 01 July 2006

  • 10+2 with minimum 50% in Physics and Maths
  • Graduation (3-year course) with minimum 60% marks OR
  • BE/B.Tech (4-year course) with minimum 60% OR
  • Cleared Section A & B of AMIE or Aeronautical Society of India

Ground Duty (Technical) (Age: 20 to 26 Years)

Born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) AE(L) / AE(M)
  • 10+2 with 50% in Physics & Maths
  • 4-year Degree OR Cleared Section A & B of relevant engineering societies
  • Minimum 60% marks

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

Weapon Systems (WS), Admin, Logistics, Accounts, Education, Meteorology

Qualification varies as per post, here are the key ones:

  • Graduation/PG with 60%+ in relevant discipline
  • Specific streams required for Accounts (like B.Com, BBA-Finance, CFA etc.)
  • PG required for Education branch with 50% in PG and 60% in UG
  • B.Sc or Engineering for Meteorology
