SBI CBO 2025 – Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university in India. 

Experience 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB) as of 31 April 2025. 

Language Proficiency 

  • Must be proficient in the local language of the state/region you are applying for. 

Age Limit (as on 31 April 2025) 

  • Minimum Age: 21 years 
  • Maximum Age: 30 years 
  • Relaxation: As per SBI norms (OBC: +3 years, SC/ST: +5 years, PWD: +10 years) 

Selection Process 

The selection for SBI CBO 2025 will be conducted in three stages: 

  1. Online Written Exam – Objective & Descriptive papers 
  2. Screening – Shortlisting based on experience and document verification 
  3. Interview – Final evaluation round 

Note: Final selection will be based on performance in written test + interview, subject to eligibility and document verification.

Objective Test (120 Marks, 2 Hours) 

  • English Language – 30 Qs 
  • Banking Knowledge – 40 Qs 
  • General Awareness/Economy – 30 Qs 
  • Computer Aptitude – 20 Qs 

Descriptive Test (50 Marks, 30 Minutes) 

  • Letter Writing – 1 Question 
  • Essay Writing – 1 Question 

Salary and Job Profile 

  • Basic Pay: ₹36,000 + allowances 
  • Gross Monthly Salary: Approx. ₹50,000–₹55,000 (varies with location)
