Name Of Post: Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2023: 928 Candidates’ Candidature Cancelled Over Criminal Charges

Information: An important announcement regarding the revocation of numerous candidates’ candidatures under Advertisement No. 01/2023 for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment has been announced by the Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar.
928 candidates have been disqualified, according to the official notice, after being identified as accused in a number of police cases. Following background checks by the Government of Bihar’s Home Department (Arki Branch), the decision was taken.

Why Their Candidature Was Cancelled
There is absolutely no tolerance at the CSBC for criminal background checks. Since it immediately compromises the discipline and integrity of law enforcement services, candidates who are discovered to have been identified in or implicated in police cases are not permitted to join the state police force.
Between January and April of 2025, all of the candidates on the list were identified as accused in charges filed at the Bihar police stations of Gardanibag and Sachivalaya.

All candidates have been urged by the board to maintain a spotless record while applying for jobs in the future. Any objections to cancellation must be made (if allowed) in accordance with the instructions provided in the comprehensive notification on CSBC Bihar’s official website.
