BTSC GMO Eligibility Criteria 

Educational Qualification: 

  • Must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized Indian university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Council (NMC). 
  • Permanent registration under Bihar & Orissa Medical Act 1916 is required. 
  • Foreign MBBS graduates must have completed: 
  • 4.5 years MBBS + 1-year internship 
  • Passed FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) conducted by MCI/NMC. 

Internship: 

  • A 12-month compulsory rotating internship in a recognized hospital/institute is mandatory. 
  • There should be no break in the internship period
